From the farm ponds of my youth developed a passion for fishing in all its forms. A love for fly-fishing in particular has led me on repeated trips to the West, where the expanse and grandeur of the landscape also offers up great subjects for painting. One such trip produced this oil painting from the Lamar River in Yellowstone National Park, which was subsequently acquired by the Georgia Nature Conservancy and presented as an environmental award to their top supporter, Ted Turner. |
