Among my travels there is a place that looms large in future plans. It is a part of the world that exerts an almost subconscious force on the spirit of man, a magnetic pull back to the origins of our species. It is an instinctive sensation, this desire to see, feel and physically touch the place where our forebears first stood upright, on the plains of Africa. From the inspiration of a single trip a decade ago, my plans are to return for a lengthy stay in collaboration with a large science research program. |
